Yay! The new site is up and running. Thank you to all who have been following me this past year. I promise this year to be bigger and better with tons of new posts and features.

The story behind the Deep Fried Awesome name: During the beginning stages of the new design I was hunting for a name, something that would capture exactly how I wanted to describe this site and I just couldn’t think of something I connected with. Then one random Wednesday night my boyfriend and I got to talking about the state fair and all the deep fried foods you find there, and how everything is better deep fried. A couple hours later I was describing how awesome something was and then tried to emphasize it’s awesomeness : “It’s so awesome that It’s Deep Fried Awesome”, and at that moment the new site was born.
